By Electric Telegraph. — Copyright. (Received Sept. 14, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 13. The Marylebone Cricket Club's team which toured Australia beat a moderate English «leven by nine wickets. Blyth took seven wickets for 75, and six wickets for 36. Mr D. Reese, the well-known Canterbury cricketer returned to New Zealand by the Warrimoo. Both ill Sydney and Melbourne he conferred with prominent cricketers'" with reference to a visit of a representative team to the Dominion next season. Though nothing definite was decided, Mr Reese is hopeful that his report to the New Zealand Cricket Council will result in a visit either from a representative team or from an Aus,fralian Eleven on its way to the Old Country. — Lyttelton Times.
