MISHAP IN A CHEESE FACTORY.

Per Press Association. TNVERCARGILL, Sept. $. At Edendale dairy factory to-day, Mr John vSawers, of cheese-making fame, was the victim of a nasty accident. He bad disconnected some belting to throw tlio machinery out of gear when the belt caught on a projection on the sliaft and drew him up, badly smashing his l< v g. There is some fear that amputation will be necessary.
