DUNEDIN TOURNAMENT.

Per Press Assooiation. DUNEDIN, Sept. 9. At tho Otago Boxing Association tournament to-night, Griffin (Canterbury) beat Fulton (Dunedin) in a sixround bout. This contest provided the best exhibition of boxing during the evening, and after a vex'y close go tho judge's verdict went to the northener. Hoatley defeated Owens in the first round, the latter boxer's seconds throwing tho towel in the ring. Hogarty (Timaru) did not put in an appearance. A. Rosa was awarded the fight on forfeit. Sann'irs (Westport) lost the verdict to R. Ross (Dunedin) at the end of a six-round bout.
