EARTH LOOSENED BY BLASTING. ___ _____ , ] (Received Sept. 7, 9.58 a.m.) ! BRISBANE, Sept. 7. The fatal rail of earth took place in one of the large copper-ore chambers, a large mass coming clean away from the roof and the side in tho shape of a slide. This part of the Mount Morgan mine was considered exceptionally safe. It is believed that constant blasting operations must have loosened tho earth. The victims were working oon ontract. j — —
