Lieut. Standish, of the R.N.Z.A., is on a visit to New Plymouth. Miss Hudson, the superintendent of the Auckland Women's Home, arrived this morning by the Takapuna, and will address a meeting of ladies in St. Mary's Hall to-morrow afternoon at 3. Mr W. B. Seandrett, Mayor of Invcrcargill, was a passenger from the North this morning and spent the morn ins in town, leaving by the 12.50 train. Mr F. E. Faunae, M.P., K.C., t>»s a passenger from Auckland by the Takapuna this morning.'
