By Electric Telegraph. — Copyright. (Received August 18, 9.05 a.ni ) BERLIN, August 17. Wilhelm Voigt. who in December, 1906. was sentenced to four years' imprisonment at Berlin for stealing the Municipal funds of Kopenick i has been released.
[Tho Kopenick crime is famous -is one of the most impudent deeds of modern times. Voigt arrayed himself ia the dress of a. captain of the Foot Guards and presented himself at Kopenick as a messenger from the Emperor!} He called the Mayor to see him and ordered him to bring out tho funds from the municipal treasury. fho Mayor meekly obeyed, and Voigt maun off with his easily-won booty.]
