Tho Dominion, in its report on tho Wellington Stock Exchange for Monday, says: — ''There were no important changes in values except that Taranaki Petroleum shares rose to 7s buyers. These shares have been in steady demand for some weeks and have gradually risen from os to 7s, aud continue to show an upward tendency. Speculative buying is responsible for this movement, and those oporntin.'j; may be in possession of 'inside information" which is doubtful."
