INCREASED STAKES.
(Received April 15, 9.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 15. The Jockey Club has increased its entrance fee to 20 guineas. The stakes for the events of next year's meeting have been increased in the aggregate by £4150. The stakes for the Derby have been increased to £3000, the Spring Stakes to £1000, and the Metropolitan and Sydney Cup each to £2500.
