FATAL GUN ACCIDENT.
NAPIER, April 12. A kuu Occident occurred on Watchman Island, inner harbour, at about 5 o'clock this afternoon, resulting in tho instantaneous doath of Frank Oulton, aged about 2G, 0 coachpainter. Ho was ono of a party who wore shooting shags. While ho was descending tho steep, rocky side of tho island with tho aid of a'wiro rope fixed there, his gun went off. Tho upper part of. his head was blown away.
