HORSES KILLED BY A TRAIN.

Per Press Association. NAPIER, April 12. 'A stock train ran into a number of horses on tho railway between Napier and Port Ahuriri at about 11 o'clock on Saturday night, killing four of thorn and injuring one. The horses belonged to Maoris who wore working at a clearing and road formation on Wharc-a-Maraenui reclaimed land.
