INGLEWOOD v. EGMONT VILLAGE. Our Inglewood correspondent writes : A erieket match between teams representing Egmont Village and the local Club was played here yesterday, tho visitors being defeated by 41 runs. The local team, batting first, compiled 116 for 9 wickets when the innings was declared closed. The chief scorers were: R. O'Byrne (Si, not out), Dr. Gault (20), M. Harris (14), ;C. Inman (16, not out). Wellington and Kin- - sell a were the most successful bowsers for Egmont Village. The visitors re/ sponded with 75. R. Marsh (20) being the only one to reach double figures. The bowling honours were shared by Dr. Gault, M. and J. Sutherland.
