Hawer& sent rinks to Waverley on Saturday last and just managed to win an exciting match by 119 to 117. Hawera started well, gaining a lead of 30 points !in the first few heads, but Waverley him reduced tbe gap at the tea adjournment, when tho scores were : Hawera 64, Waverley 56. When there was but one head on one rink to go the score was 117 all, and Hawora got two in.
