There was a fair attendance of mothers' at the meetins hold in St. Mary's Hall yesterday, afternoon in connection with- the, protection *)f mtant life movement. * Mrs Dockrfll presided. A very interesting and instructive demonstration of the process 6f'humanising milk was given by Miss Brown, matron of New Plymouth Hospital, and Nurse O'Brien. It is intended to convene a public meeting shortly to see if a society 1 can bo fornhed. In tUo meantime members will be canVaswd for. :
