Wheat. — The. market is very strong owing to the continuance of unfavourable reports from India, Australia 2 and Canada. There id a general prospect of supplies being insufficient. Two Australian cargoes sold at 43s and 43s 3d respectively. There haye been many sales of Californian blue stem at from 41s 6d to 41s 9d, on the spot is in good demand at 42s 6d to 435. New Zealand is nominally quoted at 40s to 41s for shortherried. and 41s to 42s for longberried. . , Flour.-r-The demand is brisk. Australian in London sold at 28s to 28s 6d ; in Glasgow at 30s. BUTTER. ' The butter market is very firm. Danish 119s to 121s. .There is strong inquiry for. choicest new colonial. Salted 112s to 114s, unsalted 114s to 116s.
