Tho songs of Messrs W. Putt, Phillips, Peawarden and Paterson were very muc i appreciated. Miss Read and Mis-3 Bartlett played the accompaniments. Mr Footlights was very amusing Captain Mace was chairman. Tho entertainment was very enjoyable. Th"» hall was then cleared and dancing commenced. Mr W. Mace, M.C., kept things going, s* After refreshments dancing was participated in until nearly three. The dance was well attended and the Rifle Club must have gained - n funds.

The annual meeting of the library members was held on the evening of the 18th. Only six members were present. Capt. Mace was in the chair. The balance-sheet was adopted.
