AN ANCIENT 'CELLO.
REMARKABLE DISCOVERY.
United Press Association. — By Electric Telegraph . — Copyright. (Received July 25, 10.2 a.m.) ■ , MELBOURNE, July 25. An ancient 'cello has been found at Mount Noorah. When being taken to pieces for repairs it was found to contain the label "Nicoly Amati, 1624." There was also a record that it was repaired at Versailles by Louis Dandeh in 1781 for Louis XVI. of France.
