Campbell Bannerman, induced the House. of Commons' to 'him to apply the closure ' to «the discussion on the Irish Evicted Tenants' Bill. ' The leader of the Opposition, Son. A. J. Balfour, declared 'that the late Government had regarded the closure as a drug to be administered' to a sick patient. 1 The present 'Governmenttreated it as members' daily food.
