There is fine weather for the second day's races. The attendance is good. The course is heavy. Results : —

Glasgow Handicap — Jolly Friar i, Intelligence 2, Gawain 3. All ran but Chicane. Won by~ three parts of a length. Time, 1.4 3-5. Dividends, £5 5s and £14.

Karori Handicap — Martyrium l,Waikaraka 2, Pearlie 3. All ran but Warlock. Won by a length. Time, 1.21 4-5. Dividends, £4 4s and £1 2s.
