EGG-LAVING COMPETITION.

The official report of the Utility Poultry Club's egg-laying competition at Lincoln College shows that 1041 eggs were laid during the week ending Friday last, bringing the total to date up to- 7576. ..The average per pen for the week was 21.6. Following were the highest totals for the week:. T-Ji*.^ Anderson (Wyandotte) 32, D. Sturrock (Black Orpington) 32, Allan Petrie (Silver Wyandotte) 30, Allan Petrie (White Leghorn) 30. The' highest aggregates are J. Jackman (Silver Wyandotte) 240, H. Hawke (Silver Wyandotte) 232, W. Knight (Black Orpington) 228, T.
