A representative meeting of bowlers resolved that the time had now arrived when there should be one Bowling Association for the colony, and that a conference should be held at an e^arly date between representatives of the North Island and the New Zealand Bowling Associations to consider the following: The forming of one association; the establishment of rules governing play; the question of reducing priae moneys; methods of conducting annual tournaments j appointment of joint secretaries and executive for the North and South ; holding annual tournaments al • ternatively in the N«?rth and South.
