NEW YORK, July 19
The directors of the San Francisco Merchants' Exchange announce that they do not favour any immigration law discriminating against Japanese.
It is reported that fruit growers in Fresno County have made the discovery that Japanese are absolutely necessary, no white labour being available to pick the fruit.
