HOCKEY.

The Atarangi-Inglewood match, which was to have been played on the Racecourse yesterday, was postponed by mutual consent.

The Whakatikas play Hinemoa at Stratford to-morrow. Following is the town team : — Misses E. Bates (goal) ; Eileen Perm, E. Rundle (backs); A. Brewster, P. Everett, M. Arthur (halves); A. Whitaker, Z. Brash, M. McEwen, N. Hanna, Ethel Perm (captain), (forwards). The team leave by the quarter to one train.

A return match, Banks and Government Buildings combined versus Trades, will be played on the Racecourse ground to-morrow afternoon, commencing at 2.30. The following are the teams: —

Banks and Government Buildings — Grant, Hurle, Blanchett, Deacon, Clapham, Morgan, Pfanduch, Harding, Jennings, Hedditch, O'Loughlen, S. Griffiths.
