PROPOSED DUPLICATION.
United Press Association — By Electric Telegraph — Copyright. ST. PETERSBURG,' July 18. The Council of Ministers decided to ask the Douma to sanction the duplication of the Siberian railway.
(It will be remembered that during the Russo-Japanese war the mobilisation of the Russian troops was continually hampered ib rough the railway line being blocked. Trucks containing supplies and troops for the front were frequently blocked by the returning trucks. It was at v this time that the need for a duplicate railway line became manifest. The line, which extends from St. Petersburg to Vladivostock, is by far the longest in the world.)
