LONDON, July 18. The Right Hon. D. Lloyd-George. President of the Board of Trade, states that there is no foundation for the report that the Government Committee had decided against granting a subsidy for a steamer service for the "AllRed" Route.
He said the evidence of Canadians before the Committee was still unfinished, and no Australian or New Zealand testimony had yet been heard. The iriqufry- was -not 'tiearly^coriGkrdedrUb'risequehtly it was impossible for tlie committee to have arrived at a decision.
