The yards were well filled, and most of the stock changed hands "at recent rates./ JPat cows made £3 17s Gd to £5 Is ; forward do., £2 14s to £3 15s; boners, £1 to £1 15s; heifers in calf, £2 Is to £3J 15s ; springing do., £3 17s 6d ; empty do., £1 6s to £2 ; bulls, £1 18s to £2 Is : j calves (steers), £1 2s to £1 12s 6d and ! (heifers) 10s to £1.
