Per Press Association. \ STRATFORD, June 29. W. Collard, a fireman on the publifc works, engine on the Huiroa section, was killed by a fall of earth in the Skinner Road ballast pit this morning. Deceased leaves a widow and several children. Latee. Later news states that the* main killed in the ballast pit was W. Kohlies, a labourer, not Collard. » GISBORNE, June 29. The body of Hugh Trumble, the missing cook of the barquentine Frank Guy, was found in the river this morning.
