THE FUNERAL.

Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, June 29. Sir John Hallos funeral yesterday was very largely attended, nearly every resident of the district for miles around Hororata being present, even drays drawn by cart horses carrying whole families in the funeral procession from Coalgate to the cemetery. Bishop Julius and Archdeacon Scott conducted the service.

Numbers of prominent representative people were present, .'and' the list of senders of wreaths fill a whole column of the morning papers.
