THE CARNIVAL.

The opening- „ of- tfhe Recreation Sports Committee's Grand Carnival on Bpxfing. night . is goftng >to be an event of more ttfan usual interest. The object is to raise money for the improvement of the sports ground, and therefore one which must appeal to all who have the interest of the town at heart. The , Theatre Royal, in which the carnival is to be held will be lighted up by electricity lastalled' gratuitously by 'Mr Trask, manager for. Roberts and Stokes.
