[JOKbUGH COUNCIL 1 DTSCUSSTON.
The Electric, light Committee recommenided to v the Council :i — 1. That, the Sanitary be in structed^to' take the necessary steps\ to construct the pipe linevfrom ,p.ipe head, to, power house. < ['j, 2. Also to prepare plans and proceed with the work of to power house.;' ,•■ - 3. That all letters having reference to electrical' matters be dealt with by the J Electric .light Committee and that the Committee be empowered to withhold any , correspondence which in thoir opinion should <ftof be read in open Council. , . - Or. ' Craig (Auckland) wrote ejecting lo the sipecifidations for the electrid light workk. The Engineer' said he had stipulated toe one lairanid -because the instruments corresponded with the present ones in use. and tihe other bran«d he thought , to be the bgst« Cr.
