■'♦ i Par Preas Association. Dunedin, 'August 10. The case of the Commissioner of Taxes versus the City Corporation, was concluded this evening. This was a claim for £853/ duty on tramway material. The point (involved was whether points and crossings for electric tramways were rails! for tramways, or tramway material not'otherwise enumerated. A special ijury gave a xmanimotis verdict that the articles were 1 rails for tramways, and therefore not dutiable. 'Judgment was entered up for the City , Corporat&on, wltli costs on the highest ecale.
