Gnristohurch, June 29; 'At 'the Police Court to-day, Henry, Deacon 'Rayner, recently extradited from" Sydney, was remanded till -»uly 4<th on a charge of embezzling! funds belonging to the District Grand 7_.odge of Druids, Canterbury district. Accused was formerly secretary to the Lodge, and the amount invoiced is about £500.
