BIG EVICTION.

There have been many threats of murder from those evicted ; also because jof his attempts to discover the murderers of William Dexter a New York lawyer, who some time ago was mysteriously murdered on his estates in the Adirondacks.

At a meeting on Tuesday evening it was decided to try and get Father •Hays to visit the town, and a provisional committee was appointed to communicate with him on the subject. Mr C. Ahier was appointed, ohairlwan of the, committee and Mr Maunder secretary. '
