A youth named Alfred flillier, aged IS years, a son of a Blacksball resident, arrived in Wanganui to-day after undergoing a terrible experience. He left Whangamoiniona on flMDondiay last witli the intention of reaching the (Wanganui river to search for work. Tn crossing -the Whangamomona river he lost his swag and boots, and for the five days following was lost in tlio biush.
