Fat cattle.— Steers sold at £6 15s to £10 2s Gd, heifers £5 15s to £7 10k, oows £5 7s Gd to £# lOtj— heing at • th.a rate per 1001 bof 20s to 21s Gd for medium to prime quality, and 1^ , to 19s 6d for cow and secondary j quality. Fat calves — Prices improved 2s Gd to 5s per head upon the previous week's rates, bood to prime calves making 30s to 425, a few extra to 495, others from 10s upwards. Store cattle— Yearlings 22s Gd, fifteen to eighteen-months 37s tc. 595, two-year-old steers £3 5s to £3 ISs 6d, do heifers £3 2s to £3 13s, thirty-month steers £4 16s, dry cows 35s to £4 10s. Dairy Cattle.— Good cows were fairly well competed for, and sold at from £6 to £6 10s, and one at £8 7s Gd. Old and inferior sorts were only saleable at from £2 to £5. were about Is and ordinary fully below previous prices. Fafc Lambs.— Prime lambs 16s Gd to 19s lOd (a few extra to 235), others jrom lis 6d to 16s. Store. — Sound mouthed ewes in small lines sold at 17s to 18s f,d, twotooth at 18s Id, two-tooth wethers at 16s to lfis 7d, small 14s 9d to iss 9d, four and six-tooth 18s to l9s 3d, sm a ll from 16s 9d, good lambs 14s 7d to 15s Gd, others 12s 8d to- 13s 7d. piers.— Stores sold well at previous values. Baconers 38s to 52s Gd (or 4d to 4.Jd per ft). Porkers 25s to 35s (or 4M to 4--{d per 'b), large .stores 20s to 50s, medium 13s to 18s, weancrs to 12s.
