Mr and Mrs D'Aorcy Robertson have returned from tneir honeymoon tour. Mr W. G. Kenrick. of Auckland, has been appointed Stipendiary Magistrate, in succession to Mr, Hawkins of the West Coast. Dr. Weldon, late Bishop of Cabutta, passed through hero with the Premier on Tuesday morning. Miss T. 'Honan, of jßahotn, has been appointed posPnistress at Urenui, and takes Tip her duties to-morrow. Miss IT. Honan. her sister, has been appointed postmistress at Rahotu in place of her sister. Mr W. K. Bishop, a representative of the Sydney Morning Herald at?d Sydney Mail, was in town on Wednesday. He has been spending- two , oo f three weeks in the Auckland province, and is now on his ,way to Oh'ristcfiurch, thence homewards by way of Melbourne .~ Mr Bishop has been travelling for his papers for a good many years, during which hei has visited nearly every part o£ and New Zealand.
