(From A Correspondent.) A most enjoyable dance took place •'in the schoolroom on Friday evening. A large number o£ friends were present, including- many from Midhirst, , , ' Mr Gooch's 'bus conveying our, neighboiArs to and from the school. "As is always the case at entertainments here, the refreshments were on a moat ' liberal scale. They were kindly pro♦vklecl by parents of the children at- \ tending the day school. The financial result was satisfactory, and will enable the committee to .provide some of tbe requirements of the school which J are absolutely necessary.' Dwrihg the evening songs anfcl recitations were - -contributed by some present, anid 'dancing terminated at ahoiut 2 a.m. oh. .* Saturday. We are hoping to have a , sociai and dance in- about a month's" ," time, when we are expecting friends from Elfcham and Stratford who will /compose the programme, and doubt- \] less the room will be taxed to its ut- " most capacity.
