MESSRS BEWLEY AND GRIFFITHS SHARE REPORT.
Messrs Bewley and Griffiths report : Bank of New Zealand are enquired for at £3 11/, ancl National Banks have buyers at £4 10/. Insurance shares are enquired for at rather lower rates. Locally we have a parcel of Sash, and D^or offered at £6, and as a dividend is payable very shortly these shares should be good buying. In dredging the Southern market has been a good deal" 'more active as with a' "low river inokt excellent returns are being obtained, and dividends are.being paid ---"by^or^nnmber of companies. West Coast dredging continues quiet but there are signs of improvement.
