At iho Haymarket on Saturday weaner pigs made- 7/ to 1)/, slips 10/6 to 13/. Hiwses made from £o to £U. At the Mart, fowls made 1/3 to 1/9, ducks 2/2, turkeys 4/ to 4/3. A .quantity of furniture and sundries sold at very low prices. ' Cattle.— At Stratford on Tuesday bidding was quiet, and in most cases failed to reach vendors' reserves. Few young cattle wero yarded, and one or two pens oi good strong nalves wore Avell competed for. Calves made 25/ to 32/, 15 to IS months steers £3 1/ to £3 14/, 2 to 2£ year steers £4 12/ 6, 2* to 3 year steers £5 to £5 12/, heifers in calf £-1 to £4 15/, springers £5 to £5 10/, store cows £2 12/ 6 to £3 19/, fat cows £5 5/ to '£5 12/. : At Rahotu on Thursday there was a sm&ll muster of stock' and few buyers. Weavers made 14/ to 26/, good calves to yearlings 36/ to 41/, store cows 27/tf t,o £3, fat cows £6.
