Attempted Suicide.

A MISGUIDED YOUTH. Per Press Aisteociation. Auckland, .March 2: Thomas J. Townson, of Dunedin, a youth,' was charge with attempting to commit suicide. He, returned from a picnic in a drunken condition and attempted to cut his throat with ' a pocket knife. 4 His solicitor said the acoused had been drinking to excess and had lost his situation.
