DEATH OF AN OLD TARANAKI MAN. (Per Press Association).
Feilding, May 2. — George Yates Lethbridge, father of tha member for Itangitikai, died at Turakina this morning The iate Mr Lethbridge was. a representative colonist of many years standind and distinguished for services daring the Maori wrr.
[Mr Leth bridge was one of the first settlers of Taranaki, having arrived with his father and mother and family by the Oriental on November 18, th, 3841.]
