Hie Hotel Commonwealth Case.
THE APPEAL. QUANTED THE LICENSE QUASHED. Tor Press Association. Wellington, April 7. — 3he Appeal Cjurfc unanimously allowed the appeal in -the case of the Commonwealth Hotel; New Plymouth. The Court held that the pecuniary relationsof fcbemagistrats with the parties did not suppot bias on his part, but the letter given that on certain conditions he would grant a license was likely to create a real bias. The Court thereforo quashed the license.
