Personal Notes.
Mr J. A. Roberts returned on Monday morning from a trip to. America and England. Mr H. G. Ell, M.H.R., is advertised to give an address here on State Banking. He is also to give an address to the Farmers' Union at Warea, where he will be the guest of Mr and Mrs J. J. Elwin. [ The Hon. W. Jennings has returned to New Plymouth, consequent on the close , of the session. He went North lor a few days on Monday evening. 1 Mr Joliu Heslop, tho defeated Government candidate in the recent Patea election, was in town on Monday and left the same evening for the North to act as . judge at the Auckland and Waikato A. and P. Shows.
