Tper press association.] Wellington, January 29. — The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram from the AgentGeneral dated London, January 26th:— " Average price of choicest butter 110s. New Zealand butter is giving satisfaction to buyers; thero is good demand for butter. Cheese 535; market dull. There are a few complaints of off flavour in New Zealand cheese. Hemp market is very firm ; good fair Wellington. L2l 10s ; fair current Manila,*L27. There are signs of improvement in the hemp market for distant deliveries. Cocksfoot, unchanged.
