ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE FUNERAL. THE CAUSE OF DEATH. Received January, 29 0.47 a.m. London, January 28.— The Queen reposes in the death chamber. Her features are wonderfully placid and beautiful, looking younger than she had done in recent years. Her silvery hair was under a white lawn coif, and a fair white fabric enwraps the body. Her hands are crossed on the breast, the left uppermost, showing the wedding ring, while the head is slightly inclined. On each side snowdrops and lilies from her own garden are showing, and on the bed is a golden cross gleaming in the shadows overhead. The household and servants and tenants on the estate were admitted to-day. There will be a full military funeral in about ten days at Windsor and Frogmore. The remains will be transferred to-day to the dining-room, which is to be transferred into a chapel, The Lancet states tbat death was due to cerebral failure. The Court go into mourning for twelve months. Half mourning begins on July 24th. Army officers wear crape on left arm of uniform and great coat till March sth. Parliament is engaged with oath taking daily. Addresses of condolence with the Royal Family, and congratulations to the King on his accession, are to be submitted to both Houses on Friday.
