Mr Ronayne has received a telegram from the Cape Railway Department asking him to quote a price per ton for best New Zealand coal, the same as was supplied to tho Navy, delivered at Cape Town, what cargo could arrive, and what quantity per month, for use on the railways. Tho Chairman of tho Benevolent Institution states that 27 outdoor and 21 indoor Chinese patients are costing tho Institution £600 a year.
