THE DISQUALIFICATION OF F.
HOLMES. [PER PBESB ASSOCIATION.]
Wellington, December 12. — The Wellington Racing Club Stewards re« ceived an application from F. Holmes, who was difqualifbd for 12 months in connection with the running of Wedlock at the Spring Meeting, for a rehearing of the case. The Stewards decided not to recognise his light to appeal, as their finding was on the question of faot, but resolved to hear his evidence for mitigation of the sentence ftt the next meeting of the Stewards, on January B'.h.
