The Premier states that there is no likelihood of Victoria contributing to the i Geographical Society's proposed Antarctic : expedition. The finances of the colony will not permit of the expenditure. The Government intend to close the session at the 6nd of the week. Adelaide. December 5. The weather is very hot, and tha thermometer has registered over 102 in the city.
