The Baielting and all other works have been stopped in order to leave tree every available source of water. This has thrown a large number of men idle. Tho outbreak has been located, and the smoke is greatly diminished. Steady pregress is being made in confining it to the small area where it originated, and the prospects of subduing the fire are hopeful. All the men affected by the fumes are recovering.
