Wedlo,ck and Swordfzsh brushed over six f urlo'igs. Pickolo led Jorricks and Little Minister at the ond of a strong round on the gragß. Erin and Kaiti jumped tha hurdles, tho former diilodging hit ridor, but fenced w«ll with another rider up. Tally-ho wont pleasingly ovor a mile and a half, and Dantist shaped fairly over a mile aud a quarter on the grass. Flirt, Nat, and The Friar jumped the schooling fences, the former fencing slovenly, while Nat struck the wir.g of one of the jumps and fell, giving Cochrane a shaking. He jumped well with another horseman. Kingswood, Levanter, Violenco, and Perform were out together for schooling over the big fences. The latter missed the second fence,- and tho other three were jumping in free style, Perfcrra, who baulked twice, going on alone and jumping the bigger fonces well. Highlander went once steadily aud once fa?t, and Missfire strode over a mile i»ab. Voltigour put in steady pacing work. Dummy and Muscatel were on the walking* list. Ilex, looking fresh and well, cantered on the cinder track. Most of the others did walking or very easy pacing work.
