[PER PREBS ASSOCIATION.] • j ' Auckland, July I.— By a biasing • } ploßion a man named Roxburg, a contractor on the Komata County Road, hod his face so much burnt and cut as "not to be recognisable. He also sustained a great cut in the neck and arm, and his eyesight is probably permanently iujured. Pahiatua,' July I.— A man named Ol« Christenßen, a well knowa settler here and in, the Wairarapa, was found daad on the road last night with a wheel of histrap on his head. The crap had been . overturned, and pinned him to the ground.
Dunedin, July 1.-A man flamed Wart, an old resident at Quartz Reef Point, was severely injured by a fall of earth in bis claim, and died shortly after reaching the Cromwell hospital.
